450mg per scoop*
*each packed scoop (approx. 2.5ml) contains Alpha-Casozepine at similar minimum levels to 450mg of trypsin hydrolysed casein in industry-standard formulations. Contains 30 packed scoops per Jar.
Packed scoops - measuring 15kg+ doses
- Use 1 packed scoop per 15kg of dog weight.
- For accurate dosing, each scoop of AC for Dogs™ should be compacted to ensure it contains a full 450mg dose.
- Measure a packed scoop by firmly pushing your heaped scoop into the inside of the container 3 times in a row, before levelling it off.
Unpacked scoops - measuring less than 15kg doses
- For dosing fractions of a scoop, it's difficult to use packed scoops. In this case, you can use 1 unpacked scoop per 10kg of dog weight.
- Simply fill the scoop half way for a 5kg dog, or completely fill the scoop without packing it for a 10kg dog.
- To measure an unpacked scoop, gently tap it against the side of the jar to even out the powder (don't compress it).
- Please note that this method has more variation in dose, so for larger dogs, we recommend using packed scoops for accurate dosing.
Dosing instructions
- For a simple dosing table, click here
- Feed 1 packed scoop per 15kg weight of dog (press heaped scoop against inside of jar 3 times to pack)
- For measuring part-scoops, use 1 unpacked scoop per 10kg
- Mix powder into regular food or a treat (for fussy dogs, don't use dry food)
- Feed once daily (ongoing) for dogs who regularly encounter difficulties in life
- Always provide fresh water
- *Please note that some dogs will respond at up to half of the doses recommended above. So 1 packed scoop (450mg) could be helpful for some dogs that weigh up to 30kg.

AC was a game changer for my 3 year old anxious chihuahua. After 2 years of antidepressants with little positive effect and lots of bad side effects, I tried her on AC. The change was almost instant. She is now a happy snuggly girl who eats food with AC in it with gusto. She's on 4 times the base dose for her weight and it's working wonders!
Hi Jenny, thank you for sharing your story! We're thrilled AC has made such a difference for your chihuahua, and your review inspires others facing similar challenges.
Since Fearful Fergie has started on AC she has stopped being fearful!! It’s a relief to come home to a dog that isn’t cowering at the bottom of the yard yawning and shuddering her teeth. The incredibly destructive behaviour has totally stopped- she hasn’t eaten a house window sill since!!!
It’s very comforting to see Fergie calm and relaxed after her tough start in life as a rescue dog. Keep up the good work AC - you have changed this dogs life for the better!
Thank you, Libby! We’re so happy to hear that Fearful Fergie is now feeling calm and confident. Stories like this remind us why we do what we do! Give Fergie a big cuddle from us – we’re thrilled to have played a part in her journey.
AC for Dogs had a positive affect on my dog Ziggy from the first time I gave it to him. I didn't expect it to make a difference so quickly. He is more relaxed at home and is less reactive towards other dogs when we are out. I'm hoping that with continued use of AC in conjunction with his prescribed medication and specialist behavioural training he will continue to become less anxious.
Thank you for taking the time to review the product, we're thrilled that Ziggy is doing so well with it! Yes it can work the very first day you give it, within hours, but for some pets it can take days or weeks before the effect is more obvious. Best of luck with Ziggy's journey!
Since starting AC, it seems like my dog has deeper sleep. It has been 1 week since starting.
The way he behaves outside when on walks hasn’t changed. I will need to train him more on lead walks. It would be nice if he is more relaxed outside
Hi there,
Thanks so much for taking the time to leave a review. It’s great to hear that your dog is already sleeping more deeply - this can be a really good sign that AC is helping him feel calm and safe at home, which is exactly what it’s designed to support.
Just a quick note that AC for Dogs is intended to help maintain calm behaviour, not to sedate or override anxiety in highly stressful situations like walks can be for some dogs. It also doesn’t work instantly for every dog - while some show changes within days, they can continue to get increased benefit for up to 6 weeks to see the full benefit, especially when used as part of a behaviour plan.
The first step to calmness on walks is increased calmness at home, but also time, training, and the right environment. AC can support that process, and it sounds like you're on the right track.
Wishing you both all the best with your ongoing training!

I have Jilly my 18 month-old Golden Retriever on this and I have seen a good response - she is able to relax in the busy home environment, and settles much quicker when we have visitors. She is now able to sit outside and watch the birds rather than running madly around barking at them, or barking at us to come in. Her training has come along in leaps and bounds as she is more focussed, and she gets more rest at home as she is not constantly on alert. I am a vet and this is a product I am happy to recommend as a supportive agent to training, behavioural management and general dog well-being.
Thank you so much for your lovely review. We’re really glad to hear Jilly is doing so well on AC for Dogs. It means a lot to us to have your support, especially as a vet, and we really appreciate you recommending it in your practice. Thanks again for taking the time to share your experience.
